So I'm a college kid trying to make a few bucks here and there. Anyways, a guy I know has a '97 VR4 and wanted me to put new shocks in for him. I did the first one and taught him as he did the 2nd one. He was quoted at a shop for $250 front/$250 rear ($500 total) and he supplied the parts.
I'm not a pro by any means, but I've done a suspension install before on my '91 Stealth R/T and then on my '92 Talon. I did the front left in ~1 1/4 hr and the front right with guiding him in 1 1/2.
Anyways, what would you charge him? What about if I go back tomorrow and help with the rear? I said maybe half as much as a shop, but I'd like other opinions. Thanks!
