I just installed this a few weeks ago and cant get my LTFT MID to change. They are stuck at 12.5, with the lowest hitting 11.3. I can get the STFT and LTFT LOW both to 0 but cant change the mid no matter what I do. I am on the Link forum and not much help there. I have also read the instructions, did everything it said to do and still makes no difference. Anyone have any suggestions.

TIA

here is my thread:

http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=211372

Could you please elaborate on how you got the low's both to 0? just curious as to how you did it, maybe its better than how I did it which could be affecting my MID tune.

Jimmy Jr. - my gas mileage blows a$$ around town

Talesin - I dont know if you read his thread but he did look on the link forums to no avail. No offense man, but if people want to post questions on tuners or talk about link, thats their choice. I know there are people that pirate it and whatnot, but sometimes it doesnt hurt to get outside opinions on certain matters. I go to Talk all the time and search for stuff just to see how it matches up with what I find here. Plus, I know for a fact there are other link users that do no frequent the link boards b/c I see them every week at least once at our local DSM meet on Tuesdays. Don't take this as a bash or anything, I just wanted to address the fact that this is a forum and that questions about whatever can be posted here even if there is another forum somewhere else specifically for them.

I'd also like to add that I personally feel threads like this about Link are useful to those that don't have it yet but are looking at getting it. If I would have known it was going to be such a hassle to get decent gas mileage in my daily I dont know how much it would have been worth to me to have link. My MAFT setup was working great. Its not like every day I'm blasting down the street at 20lbs and hoping I have the perfect tune to squeeze out every bit of hp. Buts thats me

First off make sure you don't have any boost leaks. There is a reason 'oldman' preaches about these test, it is probably the number one thing that can make tuning a pita. Then see what you have. Adjust the deadtime to get the ltft lo and mid in line even if both get stuck on +12.5. After that I would adjust your global positive untill they come down. I beleive the 660 should be around -31, try it at -21 and see what happens. Maybe you have a dirty set of injectors. And don't forget to update changes in the A/F Ratio props.

What is your global set at and what is your base fp set at? 12.5 means the trim is pegged all the way lean and is out of the adjustment range of the ecu. Small adjustments might not seam to have any effect as you can't tell exactly how lean you are.

well my fuel psi is right were it is suppose to be. I had the global/dead time @ 31/180 as they suggest. I found that for some reason 21/390 works the best. I have both lo and mid with in ~4 or less. No boost leaks. I am not sure how my gas mileage is yet, looks to be about the same.

Now need to work on the knock!!!

Within 4 will be fine. Where are you getting knock at? Are your fuel sliders zeroed out?
