1st question. I have to buy a new battery and i was wondering if there was a recommended brand that i should go with. I live in Wisconsin so the days are cold and the nights are even colder. burrr its cold out ssside!!!
OK my 2nd question is that I have some rust on my right side strut tower(looking out while in the car). Is there a certain process I should go by when cutting this out and replacing this piece? the rust piece its self is about 1 1/2" tall and 4" long. that is the only rust on the car. I will try and get some pictures asap if that would help. To cut the rust piece out we would be using a plasma cutter. To install the new piece on the strut tower we will probably be using a plasma welder @ school so i do have some what of a pro following me over my shoulder. Or not don't know some times
. Is there a certain type of metal to use that would make the strut tower stronger and less likely to rust again. there are no signs of this problem on the other strut towers.
