Just looking for some inexpencive ways to gain a little horsepower. I have a CAI and exahust on it already but I have a 95 Eclipse GS. I was thinking about getting a chip but I have no clue where to start. Could you guys help me out. I am used to older non computerized cars haha. Thanks again.

sure thing.First off don't be misled by the engine modules like venom 400 and the ebay "chips".they don't do jack.trust me,i even tried the resistor mod.they don't work.The only ECU upgrade i know of for the 2GNT is for a 97 model only it's from AFX.Luckily,the same people make a great underdrive pulley for your car.you can find em at howellautomotive.You can put a header on your car but wont gain much from it but it will change your powerband up 1k-2k rpms or so.An safc once tuned can net you some power as well.You can also port your Throttle body to 55mm and if you want/have the time do your intake manifold runners as well.After this it gets complicated and expensive.were talking cams,nitrous and boost if you want.but if you just want a little pep with your mods and a UDP and a header and yourcar will wake up nicely.

I was already going to get a header for it. Whats a UDP? And a safc? I feel like i am shooting in the dark here. Sorry I am dense on imports. How would I go about porting the throttle body? Again I am used to carbs. Well thanks a lot for the info! Please let me know more as you do. Thanks again. you guys are great.

UDP= Under DRive PUlley
SAFC= super air flow Converter/controller?

read up on those.that should keep you busy for a while ;) .For a more vehicle specific site check out 2gnt.com.Good luck with it.read alot before you continue,the road of the 2gnt is lonely and harsh,and it takes balls,determination and/or plain stupidity J/k :p

hmmmmm. you have a 420A and want more power? well i had a 95 GS and had the same problem. wait, that was the problem! i sold it and got a 99 gst. ROFL sorry but i found humor in that since i had the NT myself and nothing seemed to give me a noticable HP gain

If you do end up buying a SAFC, be sure to have a few mods including your current mods. It will net you at least 5 horsepower with tuning. Tuning does get expensive, but every little bit helps since your n/a.
