I just picked up another 1992 TSi AWD for $900. Body is nice (couple dents) but I don't really like the color. It's got 159k miles, rebuilt head, new timing belt, etc. It's gonna be my DD and I'm putting the Laser up for good and still gonna keep building the white Talon. The only problem is it's an auto, but I already have everything thing I need to swap in a manual except the flywheel. I already have a 9lb Fidanza on the way though.

I had to replace the front driver's side axle today because it was clicking, but apparently I should have replaced the trans output seal because it's leaking pretty good now. Oh well, it just means it will be down for a couple weeks until I do the 5spd swap.

nice, yeah not a real fan of that teal color either, but for the price you can't go wrong.

Great find, congrats. You bought EXACTLY what I'm looking for! AWD Automatic 1G cheap because of body damage. Funny you want to convert to standard, and I'm specifically looking for an auto. Problem is, I live down in Texas and the DSM scene here is all but extinct. Not quite as many as there are up north, so everytime I find one it's over 1,000 miles away.
