I still miss Asheron's Call. Tried World of Warcraft, but it just didn't "hook" me. Meanwhile, I've gone back to Warcraft II on the laptop to fill-in time at work.

on a similar note. anyone else play 1.6 or source competitively? as in cal or cevo.

i was only cal im in 1.6. its hard to find a good team. if i have time for a cal id like to go main on source.

Cal-im for a season, team disbanded, never found any team as good / as fun to play with since. Then again I didn't have my car back then either...

Warcraft II is awesome! "I got axe for you!"

WoW is a lot of fun but you have to invest quite a bit of time in it to get anything worthwhile.

I was on about three years, on Darktide. I was William Tell. I'd also gotten Validus' account when he quit, was there the day Perfect Blue quit and he gave me a boatload of his stuff. Finris Wolf was my pal (and in RL), and he was the fellow behind Cardinal Siddartha. Doktor Evil was a friend online.
My first week in, I ran into Doughboy out in the middle of nowhere, and she gave me some starter stuff instead of just killing me (apparently she was one of the most ruthless players on the server).
I used to hang around Sawato and Stonehold, and like everybody else, tried to avoid Og.
I was probably about the 5th fastest runner on the server. I don't know how many guys I pissed the hell out of just by running away from them.
What ruined it for me was being "trapped" by PKs- the patch that took away the ability to portal out of a fight, so if a high-level hit a low-level, the low-level was just screwed and looted. Stupid.
I really miss that stupid game.

im damn near an addict now/again. Right now i play at San Jose Div.X server and my Usual screen name is True.pr0n* problem is that i hate pubs, but i love cs. So frustrating when you have been able to own bitches left and right but when you got like 4 ppl standing around you and you cant move, its ####in hard. Then they laugh cuse you died and if you get pissed that they laugh, your considered "Crying" i wish these lil bitches would shutup and play like smart ppl.

I play at Div.X too... i switched my anme back to True.Messiah and i feel yah on that awp/spawn camper thing
