Sorry to hear that Bruce. That sounds like a big job to fix.

About the ATCO thing. I'm not sure where it is. I've never been there before. I know the guys from the south jersey site go there alot. And I think their season is ending soon too.
 
I heard ATCO is 13.00 to run. Definitely beats the 25.00 at etown. Also, their season doesn't end until ~ Dec. 10

That would be great, I might take a trip down there before the season ends, let me know if anyone wants to go.

We should definitely get together before we go to figure out why you're not at least running low 13's with your 50 trim setup, either something is wrong or we need to work on your launching and shifting techniques. :p
 
I'd definitely like to go to ATCO and run one more time before the season ends and before I sell my Talon. Some one could start a new thread. Not it.... I started the last one.

I forgot to tell you Bruce, I landed a deal with someone and I'm about to purchase a 95 GS-T tranny with a Quaife already in it for only 450 dollars! I'll have to show it to you when I get it just to make sure everything looks good. I'm gonna be meeting the kid like next week to pick it up. Too bad I won't be able to have the damn thing put it before the race season ends. If this thing doesn't get me low 13s, I'm gonna give up on trying period. But yeah you're right, I should be hitting 13s. I don't know what the problem is...

I'm not at all a transmission person, I would suggest asking Keith at Turbotrix to double check for you before you pay him.

First thing first, get a logger so we can double check your injector compensation and deadtime compensation in the eprom. I would also like to ride with you to see how you're launching and shifting. We should have that boost leak test party we were suppose to have last week before next track day.
 
Sounds like a good deal Adam. Make sure it's legit. That's pretty cheap. 13's for your setup is probably ideal. I almost hit 13's and I'm on the stock turbo. You might just have a serious boost leak.

Yeah I definitely would like to do that. I wouldn't be surprised if I had a boost leak somewhere.

It's sad because I see other guys with GS-Ts on this site running low 14s and high 13s with just basic bolt ons. Meanwhile I have a big bad 50 trim and all the supporting mods and I can't even crack 13s. I don't even launch that bad. I mean is 2.3 REALLY that bad on a FWD? Maybe my car just really needs to be tuned. But I doubt that could be the case. As far as getting a logger. I'm pretty much gonna be broke after this LSD transaction. I don't know if maybe I can use someone's or whatever? (

As far as the boost leak "party." Yeah we should definitely do that soon.
 
Sorry Adam, I don't have a logger. I don't even know how to tune my car. I was thinking of going to turbotrix because they have an AWD dyno and getting it tuned. But if I'm gonna sell it, there's no point in spending the extra couple hundred bucks.

wow, that sounds like a good deal. i was actually thinking of getting an obx lsd for 450$ some time in the future..
anyway, i'm down for a leakdown test and one more time trial before the seasons over :thumb:

I'd definitely be down for a boost leak test with ya'll. Also, does anyone have a compression tester? I think there's stuff wrong with my car, since steve runs less boost than me yet still manages to go faster. :cry:

yeah about that whole computer thing bruce, i do go to devry and i am a computer nerd (yes i will admit it) so if u need help just let me know, and i will go to atco, i found out a couple of things and i will run again, cause i honestly think i can hit 16.9, YEAH BABY ROFL

ROFL Out of everyone on Sat, I have the most respect for you. It takes real balls to line a 17 second car up with 10 second Mustangs. ROFL :thumb:

I found some one who will lend us a 2g logger.

Just so that you know, I just got a call from Frank at FIC. My supposedly Denso 720s are only flowing 640s, reason why my car was running so lean with 720cc compensation in my Eprom. :cry: I think the quicker we log your car, the quicker we can figure out what's wrong with it, along with boost leak and compression test.
 
Hey sounds good. I'm down for whatever. Hopefully it's just my driving ability that's holding me back and not something to do with my parts. Let me know whenever you're free Bruce so we can check everything out as well as get the others (Mike, Steve, and whoever else wanted to get a leakdown test) together too.
