Ecoli's old turbo I take it?
You are correct sir. PTE just rebuilt it with new wheels/shaft so I decided to jump on it.

The jury is still out on the manifold. Probably a cast t4 comb style or maybe a sfp manifold.

Lag is not as bad as people thing. I am running a T66 on my 2.0 with 7.5:1cr.I hit 20psi@just under 5.5k and full 32psi by 6k. Its not bad just VERY odd untill you get used to it. just don't expect first gear to be fun anymore....its retarted short and the turbo dosn't wake up till second.

Out of curiousity...i was gonna go w/ a t66 over the winter...exactly when do you shift? im assuming something like 8500?

For around town driving.....it is my daily driver. I have the limiter set to 8500 for at the track if I ever get back to there I would bump it up to the 9k.

Which exhaust housing are you running and how much boost did it take to trap at 124 which is listed in your profile. I would looove to run a T67 on a 2.0L, it would be laggy as hell but the power would be worth it.

that sounds like a ton of fun... :notgood:

why anyone would run one of those on a DD is way beyond me. Many (including myself) have matched your trap speed with MUCH smaller units..... ;)

Have you run one yet???? ( a big a$$ turbo on the street) Its fun trust me- When its hard to get races with street bikes because everyone knows about your car. I admit 16g days were NICER to drive around in.

AND

Yes you are right many have hit that trap speed on much smaller units....hench on my old 60-1 on pump gas and 24psi was when I went 12.02@124 pus#y shifting last season. I have not gone to the track this season since I switched to a FRH intake manifold, Fuel cell, T66, nitrous and bigger injectors. But I will say this.......If I can keep it stright 124mph are not in store at all.

You say you have matched my trap speeds. Ovioulsy on race gas tho and looking at your profile your alittle short of 124's and my best ET last year was 127 missing 4th on PUMP.
I get to drive back and forth to work doing my track times....It most cost you a $hit load driving around on race gas ---- that sounds like a ton of fun :notgood:

Matthew

Huge turbos are no problem for daily drivers. You don't go into boost at the drop of hat, so you get good gas mileage and if you know how to downshift lag isn't an issue. They are also insane in the upper gears on the freeway in even an AWD.

127 mph on a T66??? wow, thats impressive. :shhh:

my best MPH is 123.xx so ya, i guess i am a little short of 124. That mph was on a 50 trim and race gas though... do i really feel like trading my setup for a t66 and pump just to gain 4 mph???? not at all. :nono:

let us know when your 700whp setup gets you 700whp slips... until then, you have accomplished nothing more than what some monkey with two arms and legs could have done. LOL!

Well your stupidity has shined threw. I will state this for the THIRD time to you.

....hench on my old 60-1 on pump gas and 24psi was when I went 12.02@124 pus#y shifting last season. I have not gone to the track this season since I switched to a FRH intake manifold, Fuel cell, T66, nitrous and bigger injectors.

You are running an AFC and are unable to actually run such a size turbo that I have an/or that this thread is discussing. There for you have NO EXPERIENCE on this subject except for talking out of your a$$. So SHUT UP.
Matthew

ps- speaking of accomplishing that of a monkey with two arms and legs...What was your purpose of posting in this thread...................NOTHING. Looks like they have trained them to do more the basic math. GO SCIENCE GO

I'll try to get on topic here. Thats a nice turbo, I can't wait until my Red comes back from Forced Performance.

12.0 on a 60-1? wow, more impressive numbers.. keep them coming. rofl. :thumb:

with a 12.0@124, maybe you should go back to an AFC too?? with numbers like that, you sure as hell don't know how to use that DSMLink.... LOL!

FWIW, i have experience with a 14b, 16g, FP Green, and a 60-1. i have no experience with a t67 sized turbo.... nor would i want to until i'm ready to attack 9 second land... LIKE YOU.... ROFL ROFL ROFL

Please inform us when you break 12 seconds with your 9 second setup.... :shhh:

Well you stated it your self. You had no reason to post in here other then talking bullshit. Second off I hope you dont think that was the best my car could do considering I will put it again.....PUMP GAS. Go run your car on that 50 trim and see how much slower it is and remeber my ( old turbo) turbo set up is deamed "not a pump gas turbo". I never said my car was the fastest in the world crap I was contributing to the thread starter. You are just being a moron.

Its funning how everyone hates honda's or mustang's......in realitly it just the few cocky know-nothing idiots that drive them. Well guess i have to start hating dsm'ers too.......THANKS GIMMIE11s :notgood: now i have found a moron in the dsm world.

you may call me a moron when my car should produce 700 whp, yet only makes 400..... :thumb:

enjoy driving that car of yours that has a 2000 rpm power band... ROFL

God you are not the brightest crayon in the box. Three reasons for that one....
A. I have told you I redline at 9k and spool at 6k......9...-......6......=.......3
B. I can see how having a 3k rpm powerband sucks.....when racing I spend all my time down at 2k rpms  not. Racing is all top end....with the turbo spooled.
C. For the FORTH time now. A 60-1 is what I did the ET on and a 60-1 is not a 700whp turbo.

? for you

Do you ever annoy youself from your stupidity? Cuz its pissing me off

On my 60-1 which is my track times in my profile ( <-----gimmie11's look that way maybe you will understand after 5th time) I had a .63ar exhaust housing. On my t66 I have, Ben over at AGP hooked me up with it its still a t3/t4 set-up. I am not running a full T4. I Love the turbo I have now. Its spool is not to much off from the old 60-1 but pulls insanely better once it does. When I finialy get a day off work and I get a chance to get to the track SINCE LAST YEAR, I will update my profile with T66 times.

Alright guys lets get back on topic. Matthew I love your setup and I have a couple of questions. How do you have your fuel cell set up, do you switch between the stock tank & the fuel cell or do you primarily use the A1000 & the fuel cell for daily driving, I was reading somewhere that daily driving can burn out the A1000. I read a post of yours in the tuning section stating that you're flowing 65lb/min on pump gas. What is your IDC at 65lb/min, what base fuel pressure are you running, and are you seeing any knock?

I 100% run on the cell and A1000. Yea the stock tank is completly gone. I don't drive more then 30min spirts.....If I drive longer then that I just pull over and Wait a few minutes for it too cool down just for my own peace-of-mind. I am running FIC980's @ 47psi of fuel pressure. I have to go loog at one of my logs to see what my new IDC is. My knock count is under 0.4 through all gears with 11.5:1 afr. On the 850's with -6an lines and walbro in-tank. I was hitting 93%IDC on the 60-1 @28psi.
