DOBBS FERRY,
New_York
are really crazy where i live. earlier tonight i picked my friend up from work. i was heading for the sunoco by his job when i see headlights flying up on me. When we get to the light he gets next to me. i look over and see.....a hyundai accent. it's missing the door trim on the drivers side b-pillar, the car is just in a dishelved state of being. really dark tint, some house speakers, and a tail light out ....and he wants to race me. Now, my car is pretty plain looking. it is lowered, with 17" rims, apr carbon gt mirrors, and an HKS carbon Ti. muffler...oh and a fairly large intercooler. but no wing, no flashy body kits or vinyl graphics, and he never saw the front of my car to see the intercooler. it does have a very distinctive idle, what with the 272'2 and all. the light turns green and he's off, while me and my friend are laughing. he cuts in front of the car in front of me and then cuts off the bus in the other lane. while there is no accident or funny anecdotes in this story, does anyone else have any stories like this where people are just ridiculous and retarded. i have so many about suvs and various luxury cars. i'm sorry for the rant, but i just wonder why people always feel the need to be...competetive?..is that the right word? i've pretty much put an end to racing on the street. too big a chance, and too much lag. but why do other people in things that shouldnt' be driven at high rates of speed, especially on city streets, feel the need to prove themseleves to other people. sorry again for the ranting.
