okay since my gsx is down again, im contemplating really a lot now on whether or not to keep my car or get a different car. before i got my gsx i was gonna get a s4 but decided to just get the gsx since it was cheaper and easier to get. so now im at a crossroad again. keep my 95 gsx or get a s4. this decision is also pretty hard cause there arent that many cars out there that i like and i wanna keep awd. so let me know what u all think

i used to own one i loved it really dependable if you ask me a s4 that is

If you want an even bigger head ache, buy the audi. Buddy's 00 550hp s4 that still runs mid 13's (cause its so damn heavy) is still sittin cause he cant find/afford a tranny. Good luck

hes got a point there not also heavy but they are a bi*** to fix man and the parts are a pretty pricy

Audi's brake as much as dsm's. check the statistics

Actually, statistically speaking, DSM's encounter more redlights and stop signs.

Haha........very good. Stick with the GSX. Spend the time, spend the money, it's worth it. That's my opinion. Good luck though....choose wisely!!

:dsm: :talon: :laser: All the way........

Almost any car you "mod" or "drive like you mean it" will have it's headaches, and problems, fixing these damn things is half the fun of owning them. DSM all the way. Then again any car with AWD and a turbo is sweet in my book.
:dsm: > AUDI

LOL, pay more money for a car thats gonna be down just as much? I don't think so :tease:

OR...get a brand new car and apply the lessons learned from the DSM and dont worry about a car breaking down and leaving you completely F***ed!! If it breaks, its still under some sort of warranty, and the dealer will give you a loaner car.

What are your goals dude? If you want a full out race car, that is still daily driveable, keep the DSm, but if you want mildly fast luxury fine for a DD, get the Audi. But if you are afraid of the Audi breaking too, I would just get a 2.8L A4. They are great cars with solid engines, and no problems associated with the turbos. :thumb:

Sell me the GSX and get the Audi. ROFL :sneaky:

Dont think so, you can run mid 13's if not lower by simply finding a good chip for an s4, only a couple hundred pounds heavier than a gsx, and as with any car you lose some reliability when you begin modding it, the s4 is a very fine piece of machinery and brings some aspect of luxury unlike the gsx, guess it depends on what you want, both can be turned into very fast cars, depends on what scene you want to be involved with, plus the 2000's had some problems that they cleared up the next year

The S4 is a perfect "Autobahn" (German highway) car. I did 250kmh (and more) for about 1-1.5 hour and is was a perfect ride. The car feels great!!! But here in Europe there are too many Audi's. So keep the GSX, do a good rebuild and have fun. Tuning an Audi is too expensive.

If you can afforded the Audi, by all means get that. Beautiful interior, better looking car, room for 4, and much nicer handling and riding car. Audi's do need their maintenance very very often and are not cheap cars to maintain or mod. I looked into a S4 and they were very expensive to maintain. Modding is a whole different story. A exhaust is at least a $1,000. Both cars are big head aches in my opinion.

Maybe a WRX or Evo??? Cheaper to mod and maintain. Not as classy as a Audi S4, but I am not sure what exactly you are looking for. A S4 would be a pimp daily driver.
