Whenever there is valve contact I recommend that you scrap the entire engine. The head can be damaged (plus the valve train) and the pistons are also damaged and even the main bearings can be damaged. Look for a JDM importer in your area or a junkyard for a new long block. The junkyard I go to sells non turbo blocks for $100.00 but you have to pull it yourself. That one shop that quoted you $500.00 to repair the damage is bullshitting you. Its going to cost ALOT more money to fix the problem correctly.

All the shops around me said "Sorry, we only work on hondas!!" and the one shop that said theyd do it wants to charge me 500. Any one know of any good shops in the Royal Palm Beach Fl. area? Loss of my baby is killing me, Im stuck driving my fiancee's KIA (wanna drive it into a canal!!!!!).
