I just had to post this. We are all gathered today for a family funeral and waiting around for mom to show up so we can travel and my son, and right hand man, Trevor gets a random phone call. Like all of us it is very sus.
He answered and to his AMAZEMENT, it was Cleetus McFarland, from YouTube's Freedom Factory. Trevor ordered a couple stickers from his merch store yesterday during the Month of Freedom turbo giveaway and got his name drawn today for a choice between a FREE 88mm Precision turbo or 76mm Precision Turbo and he opted for the 88mm!
What a bittersweet day!
Wow.
I never win shit.
It will go on his turbo 5.3 LS build for the Buick Skylark he picked up for $600, running.
I had to brag! :D:cool:

NICE!

MONTH OF FREEDOM!!!!

Cleetus is such an asset to the car community. I thought it was really cool when he got to race red demon and talked about how that car had been part of him getting into cars.

Love you all. Just couldn't NOT tell the days story :thumb:
More details to come. As always with our stuff, "Stay Tuned"! ;)

It showed up today. A Precision 8884 T5 with a 1.08 AR hotside. Should work real well fed with my HX40 ROFL
Dam this thing is a MONSTER.
Thanks Cleetus!!!
Really, this should wake up the 5.3LS that my son has, at maybe 5lbs of boost :p

Man I personally got it off the truck and OMG. With the packaging it was over 50 lbs. Trevor weighed it on a bathroom scale at 45 lbs. He's already had offers on it but its NFS.:p
You just don't sell a memento like this!
YOU BUILD A CAR AROUND IT!!! :thumb:

Kiddo still has a lot of parts to buy for the Skylark SR but it did save him $2k on his build. His LS is tore down and things look really good inside so as he gets the cash he will be ordering rings, bearings, gaskets etc. He already has cut the ends off of the log manifolds and welded on V-Bands, so he is making progress but it is slow. He doesn't make the money I do so he has to get things slowly but surely.
I appreciate asking about it. I can't wait to hear the thing too. The car already runs with a 350 in it but it won't handle a turbo. The LS will though. I will try to keep things posted as they progress. I think we ALL want to know what a 88 sounds like! ROFL
