Im going to tentatively say I'm going. I mean, the 30th shootout sounds like a good time to make my first shootout, driving my Talon or not
Even if i dont make it up there with the talon it'll be great inspiration to get it roadworthy again.

Oh I'm taking a rental car out there. That's one hell of a drive for us southern folk. Well, not really if you have an early 2000's Camry to put mileage on. But I tend to buy less dependable vehicles

944 fest takes place in Ohio as well, and my dad usually tows his lil p-car up there instead of driving it since he knows he'll hate the drive and/or break the car. Being 55 doesnt make it easy for him
Personally i love driving the talon from TN-AL (about 2 hours and 2-3 interstates). But without cruise control/AC, i imagine an 8 ish hr drive would SUCK. So valid point.

I will 100% be there... only thing up in the air is if the A87 GSX will be done by then or not. Hoping to enter the autoX event with it.

I'll be there hopefully we can meet up for once. Always good to meet people.

Im looking foward to seeing everyone of the members going ill message everyone when i get set up in at summit racing, snow white is planning on making her first appearance in september if all goes well, so far looks promising.

Amazing dude. Looking forward to meeting up with him again this year too. We are actually about to make a deal on vehicles too haha. He gave me his word he would be part of my “pit crew” at shootout too .

Yeah he's a great friend now we chat a lot . Yeah he told me he'll be at my dyno day in Detroit he my builder . I'll be there in not racing so if you need hand in the pit lmk im down to help out.

Hell yeah man! I am hoping the a87 is done by then and have it in autoX. Maybe putt down the drag too but slooooowly . Going to try and have a tent set up with a sign that says Dusty’s Garage so look for me dude.

Will do ill be camping with rv and trailers with my family crew from kalamazoo. I plan on having snow white in the track parked. With chairs and a tent set up. I'll definitely come by and meet up.

Never been there, so I'm definitely stoked on going! Hoping to drive the Talon there from TN, too.
Can't wait!

Really wish I could. 30th seems like the right, albeit long overdue, time to go. Just don't think it's in the cards. Obviously would be as a spectator at this point.

What are you wanting to know? Dates are set but tickets and full event lists are not out yet.

Man I have been trying to get out to the shootout for years .. I've decided that for the 30th shootout im 100% gonna be there ... DSM with me or not ... It is time to make my debut..... Hope to meet some knowledgeable and cool dsm people here.... Can't wait the excitement is real .. I hope to see everyone very soon ...
