The 3" exhaust pipe cut at right around 2" did the trick to replace the rotted original subframe bushing housing.

Oh yeah? Awesome! I'll have to check out your build thread again.I was just there looking good. I got the toe eliminator and upper from Paul n and replaced all bushings in the front and rear frame .
No, originally a PA car. However the rest of the car is cherry, just the sub frame and rear end parts that weren't undercoated were the most rusty. It's amazingly solid for a PA car.Was that a southern car.
Thanks, man! Haha, I want to work on it all the time but there's only so many shifts I can pull till 11 in the garage after all day working. Lol.You’re seriously getting after it! Lots of similarities with work on my car, but I’ve been chipping away for 3 years and only got half as far. Had TRE do all my gears, too. Go for the bead blast on the cases, very sweet.
There is a freelancer making Stainless fuel necks, though a bit pricey. Yours looks bad.
I used a universal fuel sender, and it fits fine. I have a meter match unit that compensates for the difference in resistance between the oem and replacement units.
Does yours have 6 or 7 bolt motor? Twin piston front calipers?
Thanks, Marty!Love it. Stay on your path until you get to the end (does that ever happen???)
Really nice work!
, right! V8 guys would be all cornfused.Make sure you keep those cobra center caps on it. Those wheels look pretty good to me. I'd imagine they're high quality, since the cobra package is not cheap.
