I would check to see if both of your washer pumps work. They have one for front and another pump for rear. I just had to screw with mine since they were not working and that looks like one of the connectors.
Just a late thought, does your vehicle have a factory security system? Is that a single terminal connector or two pin?
defroster works.Defroster?
ive filled it and made sure the fluid leaves the tank when i use the fluid pumps. im thinking that wire is probably the signal for the tank but ive been looking and no connection anywhere...Check the wiper fluid tank to see if you still have all the fluid you put in. Tank could be busted so you are low on fluid setting the light off

He remembered, I did once ask the sameThere are only three single wire, black connectors in the trunk compartment of a 2G. They are for the rear defrost (+), rear defrost (-), and the luggage compartment light switch.

The single-pin connector you have pictured is for a luggage compartment light switch for vehicles without a theft-alarm system. According to the FSM, if the vehicle did have a security system, this is an open connection.
