Motor is mounted again so I can move this thing. It's rolling out of the garage tomorrow after 4 long years. Sam krauss has been gracious enough to offer to store it temporarily while I'm moving then it's going back together. Gonna take 5 gallons of simple green to degrease it. I'm actually a little excited.

I got my 3/4 gear stack back together last night, now if I can figure out how it all is supposed to go back together and fit into the case, I will be golden..... :ohdamn: ROFL

Ugh it hurts putting it back in after spendin to get it don’t it, it’s too pretty to beat it up

So I went of Vfaq and seen about the 5th gear fix with tightening the 36 mm nuts which I did and seems like it helped some but found this as well. Not sure what the parts are called bulled looks like something is rubbing through.

The top per look like perhaps a grinding gear? Weird that some of the inlet parts are only spotted me. Or fully grinded

The nut is very close proximity to the cover. That's the only thing in there unless you had some debris. Does the sjaft have any axial play? Note* you can not check for play with the end case off unless you devise a way to hold the bearing plate down.

Mostly 2 to 3 and 3-4 would grind but if it didnt want to go I wouldnt force it. Next I need to adjust the cables inside I believe this will help out since everything has brand new bushings.

Yes it is for sure but the nut or the brass gear that goes against the spring washer doesnt have any worn looking issues like the case and spring washer do which gets me. Which shaft are you referring to?

The input shaft. The one we are discussing. As far as the nut not having any wear spots how can you be sure this damage didn't happen awhile back and since then the end nut has been changed? As far as the wavy washer is concerned the reverse synchro rides on it constantly so wear is typical.

oh ok i gotcha sorry dont know alot about the trans aspect of these cars, i mean i cant confirm that for sure since this was a trans out of one of my parts car that i put in mine didnt know anything about the car as i bought it for scrap more less. Yea everything is in the car i just happened to do this one night i had time. Bare with me here but with the trans in the car i wouldnt be able to check input shaft play correct?

Well I haven’t done any work on the car that’s for sure. Boarded up for Ian’s punk ass yesterday.

Sucks for Tampa but everyone else outside of that area will be fine. What’s hilarious is all these New Yorkers and PA idiots who moved down here to Florida are losing their minds pillaging the stores and panic buying, and it’s not even gonna rain here in Pensacola. Lmao. Enjoy all the milk and bread you idiots bought for nothing.

Luckily it moved a little south of us from what was predicted. Fort Myers/Naples area under water now though.

Getting it ready for weekend driving duties again now that the summer is almost over. Fresh oil, filter, trans, and rear diff fluid.

Even the garage is too clean ...

Stock ecu and stock injectors installed, man this car runs so much better. The 750cc injectors and the facebook hotboi tune were bumping way too much fuel

Also installed a ebay $32 apple/android head unit. Actually seems to work every well, we shall see if it stands the test of time though

Drove it around the block, checked for leaks and got one at the inline turbo feed filter. It’s tight already so I’ll have to look into. Parked it and looked over the tune. So for so good!

Jus is sourcing a billet compressor wheel as far as I know. Once he gets it I'd say it will be sent back soon after I'd like to drive it around before winter hits. I'm definitely ok with waiting too cuz it's being done the right way for sure.
