Wow… so much has happened
Bought the car July 15th and drove it home… she went straight up on some jack stands.
Did a complete thorough inspection and found out she needs a bit of work considering she’s almost 25years old.
I’ve learned ALOT this past month and still have more to learn. Bought a ton of parts and still compiling a list of more parts

Pulled the transmission, cleaned her up as best as I could and installed a new clutch fork and pivot ball set…. The following day I started to disassemble the intake manifold and well… basically everything else. The OCD in me needed to clean the whole engine bay and once I saw how dirty the head was… I figured I needed to pull the motor so I could really clean her up and it would make it a lot easier to replace all seals… might as well change out the oil pump too

Did a compression test on her… decided to inspect the valve train. She has 157000 miles on her and I can tell she hasn’t had her timing belt changed since the 60000 service.
Ordered some parts because she was basically STOCK aside from the make shift big16g the previous owner Jerry rigged up. The whole undercarriage was slathered in oil one day to the next… my shopping cart from ExtremePSI and STM started to get bigger and bigger. Originally I wanted to just give the car a fresh overhaul but I started to go deeper and deeper down that rabbit hole
I ordered a TOPLINE total gasket and seal kit to refresh allllll the old seals given the mileage and age of the car.. and on a whim I decided I might as well replaced the clutch and flywheel… probably should’ve gone with a 6puck sprung disk but I got a pretty good deal on the kit… it’s the ACT 2600 HD PP with ACT Streetlite flywheel. I figure I can always go and ordered the 6puck since the car is in pieces. On an interesting note… this baby had the Factory OEM Pressure plate/ clutch disk and flywheel still I’m saving it to put in a “historical museum”.
