According to the pic of bell housing, that's a KM22- transmission from the late 80s which is the previous version of W5M3- transmission. But as you say it's taken from a 92 AWD talon, the internal parts may have been swapped to fit with DSM. KM transmission should have originally had a 22 spline output shaft like 90 DSM and some had a different front ring gear tooth count from DSM, so if the internal parts have not been swapped to fit with DSM's, you may have a matched t-case and/or rear ring gear, too.

this is an example, but I'm from Spain and DSM transmissions are very uncommon. This could be an alternative, but I couldn't find any information.
