If you posted a log I could tell you in about 5 seconds. Instead everyone has to ask you 40 questions.
I think a log has been asked already but we dont get anything but have to some how fix the problem LOL

See if this video helps as i just done this walking through how i done this first time myself never doing this before and it worked for me.

im going to post a log. im 35 min away at work. after 4pm ill get the car out and post a log. i havent even captured a log as ive been watching the boost gauge so i dont blow up. logging wasnt giving me anything so i dont have any log to post yet.

and before you ask...i have an aem uego and EVERYONE always says "your afr is off please adjust and send another log". i monitor afr in the car, not on the logs. ive tried many ways, they just dont calibrate for link well. just fair warning.

also.....the solenoid operation seems backwards from what link is showing me. when the solenoid activates it doesnt vent to the top port unless i put the boost line from the j pipe to the single port side. then when you force actuvate it, it diverts the air out the vent port.

Tip from a tuner that I got was to make sure the ground for the WB gauge is the same as the ECU ground. It made my gauge match up with Link.

ok i got a log, and boost acted weird, was oscillating wacky. 20-22 psi range. never did that before. tables are zeroed. enable boost checked. i did change the top lock # to .62 like in the video, and boost to 20 on the bottom lock. it shows on the log as well doing that. very erratic. didnt do that before. i logged all the wga and bcs pids.

i am in the car on hotspot i can do more logs, let me know.

EDIT i cant post a log i dont see "upload file option" so i guess im sol. i see bolt italic, text, picture, media website, link, and save, and add photos. no upload file. sorry.

i tried, said invalid type

so it now works. perfectly. the lock numbers are EVERYTHING. they dont even mention them in the wikki. crazy. im at .62 and 20psi there.

thanks guys. im seeing 28psi up top, 38lbs min. i saw 41lbs min but at that point, at 6000tpm the tires start burning out LOL.

this is cool. the wikki sucks. thx for the video above. that worked with the settings.

:)

The pulsing of boost i think is normal as mine did this also when starting off. I think its reading the 0% and 100% lock section and puksing through that range! This is running spring pressure max and then it opens and drops boost off as the solenoid does its cycles! At least its what makes sense to me in theory from everything else as once i make my own duty the pulsing goes away and now becomes the background duty.

Glad it works for you. This was my first time also on this sunday so If I can do it anyone can LOL

If it does spike up then log the spike and tweek the duty % in that cell to lower the spike and level it out or have it so it scales boost up nicely rather then a large surge which likely causes the spike to begin with. Basically have it so boost builds evenly up smoothly for you if you want more control on boost

Thats my next step also myself. Im spiking to 30psi before it tapers back to my 25psi target.
Im going to log a run and over that lower the duty during the rev range and see what % is at what psi and then adjust that % to the early revs that create spikes and ramp it up nicer and more controllable also. No point in it spinning surging and loosing traction

yeah im using the evc to hold boost at 25psi to redline. i always had 26psi hit, then by 7k was down to 21 and it felt slower. now ihe midrange is felt to redline. super nice.

there is something weird with the gear blocks tho.....if i change 1-2nd blocks, it goes right back to iwg pressure on all gears. i gotta chabge one block at a time and see what happens. same thing with using error correctio and messing with target boost table at all. right to iwg pressure.

im just glad it works and i can influence the spikes and holds boost nicely.

Error correction apparently takes alot more time but you have to spend good time getting base duty as close to perfect first then make that jump. I dont plan to use that so my current knowledge stops here LOL. Maybe one day i might use it but for now for me its not required

yeah im not sure if im going to use it or the target boost blocks. im really dialing in like 1% changes at a time to duty cycle and smoothing them like a timing curve. that is really what im focusing on.

gonna go back out tonight and do some logs. i will again try and post one. i can provide a pic at least. the WGSDuty is what u want to log. it will show ya your selected % and follows the boost curve nicely

Looks like you log the "world" like I do. Thanks for doing this testing and reporting back with results. We can all learn something from this thread! :thumb:

I went out last night to try rid of my spike and its working out well. It still needs small tweeks but i need a second person and my wife wont come in the car ehile doing this stuff as it scares her LOL. Its hard to do and stop do and stop when i need to be doing it as im driving to feel the differe t straight away.

The spikes stopped and ramps nicely.

I did have a look at the error correction as an automated part of the boost and it kind of works it out for you but i never ran it to see what it actually did i need alot more time for that to be done.

Snap shot of my current setup as of last night. Need to tweek 2nd gear about 4-4500rpm from feel. Im sure i need more then that in general but 1st gear is also going to come down more as its a bit too much for 1st
