I noticed the low wiper fluid sensor was unplugged. It is because the sensor is broken. Its full of fluid and its on 24/7. The previoys owner put tape over the light on the dash. Anyone know how easy it is to fix?

Likely needs a new one, parts store might have one similer or find a used one from dsmgraveyard

If the sensor is unplugged and the dash light is sill on I think you have more than a sensor issue.

Lets start with you creating a profile for this car, I saw an earlier post where you said this is your sons car a 96 Talon ESI but we shouldn't have to search for that information to help you. That's what vehicle profiles are for.

Based on the 95 Talon Manual I have, the NA gauge cluster for the washer light gets power from Junction Box fuse #8 and the other end of the light runs to the level sensor where it's switched to ground when the level is low. Disconnecting connector A-73 may effect other things because the connector has two other additional positions that I don't find offhand,

Since the light works by something grounding the Yellow/Green wire from the cluster and the switch can only do so if it's plugged in there might be a short or something else we've missed.

Sorry. I thought I made a profile for it. About the low fluid light: the light is only on when the sensor is plugged in but just never goes off and the tank is full.

The float inside might be stuck in the down position. When the fluid level is above the sensor, the circuit is open. Below the sensor and it completes the circuit triggering the light to turn on. I would remove the tank to test continuity in normal position and flipped.

Just read this and found mines stuck saved me $100 for a new one😎

You can also try cleaning out the tank and switch with hot water and a little soap. Shake it around well and rinse. Repeat as needed. That worked for the radiator overflow bottle and switch.
