Hi all,

Have seen this site mentioned a few times over on our early evo forum in the UK. Plenty of tech tips here so I have signed up. Looking for a number of upgrades on mine mainly coilovers so will be mainly studying this forum for a while.

I run an Evolution 1RS as a track/road car, mainly track!

Thanks

Mike

Hey miller welcome and yes lots of info on here, im just out side of london and go to pod alot. Infacte i there this weekend for japshow, i dont go on evo123.net alot as it sucks and why i have to pay is beyond me so i put my effort into this forum as it rules and people inow what they are talking about!!!

Wow, I'm very jealous of your Evo! I had an Evo 8 for awhile and I still think it was the most fun out of any car I've owned. I'm currently putting together a 4g Mirage Sedan with a 6 bolt awd 4g63t swap. I love the early Evos!

Wow, its been a while since i posted on here. I was browsing for some info on Wastegates and O2 housings and realised this thread never got updated.

Since 2012 I moved back home to Ireland, the Evo went under the knife for a mini restoration so its a fair bit cleaner than what it was.

The car was originally a track car, focussed on track days across Europe.
I then wanted to clean it up a little, evidence of the roof rusting was coming through, this then turned into a full glass out repaint job!

New roof, underside taken back to metal, primed, treated and coated. Inside treated primed and painted.

Reassembly is always fun, fruits of your labour start to appear. Although sourcing an RS interior was tough.
