So, when I bought my car it always had problems shifting into 5th, I just got the trans rebuilt and a new clutch and flywheel and it still is hard to do. So It can’t possibly be something wrong with the trans I’m guessing it’s the linkage cable but what it else could it be? Also, as demonstrated in the video, the car won’t shift freely through the gears when the car is off and my foot is off the clutch. It feels like it’s getting caught up on something, I only mention this because I know for a fact I used to be able to do this, now, with the car off and clutch IN, it will shift better (sounds dumb I know but when the car is off shouldn’t the gears shift freely despite the clutch being depressed?)
