Does anyone have info on how to properly rebuild/reseal an AEM fuel rail? I've replaced the o-ring on the side where I was getting a fuel leak, however, it doesn't seem to have helped. The o-ring I replaced was completely destroyed - but the replacement o-ring came from an o-ring kit I have.

Measurements (P18):
ID:17.8
OD: 22.6
Section: 2.4

Is the o-ring that AEM uses especially thick? Does anyone have the dimensions for the AEM o ring(s) that sit inside the fuel rail?

This is the fuel rail being discussed:

Also for anyone looking for an AEM specific o-ring that stumbles across this thread:

Edit:

So I've stumbled across my answer in the form of the PDF from AEM linked here ( AEM High Volume Fuel Rail PDF Mitsubishi ). However, I can't find the specs for it anywhere.

There are two o-rings that sit in the inside pictured here:
Part number: AVM-1-3024 ( AEM )

This is the o-ring I initially replaced but will be pulling it back out (marked in red). There's a shoulder here that looks like it would hold an o-ring but according to the PDF, the only o-rings (2x ea. side ) sit inside of the rail rather than on the swivel piece.

Edit: Will be pulling it out again today and I'll edit the thread again if I have useful information. Otherwise, I'll edit out the questions and leave this for other people that need info on these pieces of garbage. I wish I had a 91-94 fuel rail laying around I'd much rather run one of those since I don't plan on running nitrous.

Why not just locate a stock rail and use that? How much power do you plan on making?
Bit broke right now - trying to get it back on the road without any additional costs. But, if replacing the o-rings with the ones I have doesn't work I'll likely just order a 91-94 fuel rail and call it done. 400HP-ish - I know the stock fuel rail is more than sufficient. I bought the car with the AEM rail in it and it wasn't leaking until I disassembled it to have my injectors cleaned and replace the seals.

I should have one laying around at my storage. If I find it just shoot me your address and its yours. Ill update you in the next day or so

I just rebuilt my AEM fuel rail and it takes 4 of the same O-rings, 2 per side. I used assembly lube to install them.
Correct part number for the O-rings are stated above in post #1.
(1-3024) X 4pcs

*****Thank you OP for posting the specs/part numbers of the rail assembly.
