Hello! Everyone! I changed my sparkplugs recently thinking that maybe the reason it idled and had such a hard time accelerating was that it needed new sparkplugs it went away for a couple of days but started to act up again this week. I changed them about two weeks ago and I thought the problem was fixed. Any suggestions?

If the plugs made a big difference then it started to go away suspect your spark plug wires. I would also conduct the usual maintenance, filters, boost leak check, check mechanical timing etc.
Tell us what you've done so far and what is the status of the car? Your profile is blank so I assume the car is stock?

Yes, I bought the car from the previous owner and he told me it was bone stock but said something about it having a turbo. Which I assumed was the turbo it came with from the factory.

How does your AFR look? Could be air flow, gas delivery, somewhere else in the ignition system, or a tuning issue.
How could I check the AFR with a scanner tool?

You cannot.
I would proceed with typical tune up and diagnostic paths.
What is your mechanic skill level? This is not a shot but given your last statements you don't seem to know much about the car.
Couldn't he check o2 sensor voltage, and fuel trims, if the scanner was advanced enough?
That could give him an idea if he's rich or lean. If he knows what to look for.

I'd say my mechanical skill is intermediate just learning as I go. I've fixed most of my car myself except the engine stuff is where it gets a bit tricky for me. I'll definitely look into the tune-up first though!

Based on what you’ve said so far, I’m guessing you went to a parts store and just asked for spark plugs.
I’d recommend getting a set of NGK BR6ES spark plugs, gap them to .028” starting out, and set of blue NGK spark plug wires and go from there.
Make sure you gap your spark plugs before installing because they will not be gapped correctly out of the box.

I got the NGK ones I saw on a forum here about all the correct parts for your car but I didn't buy the NGK sparkplug wires and also didn't gap them because they told me that they came pre-gapped so maybe I should've checked...

Which ones did you buy. If you bought what the computer told them you bought an ekn dual electrode. That is the oem plug and if that's what you have you can leave it alone

I would recommend an ngk wire also but it isn't like some other wire wouldn't work. If your wires are old they are definitely suspect.

I actually bought the Autolite 63 Sparkplugs I just remembered that they didn't have the NGK in stock but I went based on what the DSM maintenance guide here on the forum said to get.

They won't hurt anything but they are not preferred. And pregapped is a complete joke. You always have to check the gap on any car. Maybe not on dual electrode as the design is different and you definitely have to be careful with more esoteric plugs. Basic copper plugs, gap them everytime and piss on those ramp disc gappers, get a proper feeler gauge

So check them if they need to be gapped, Buy a propper gapper gauge, and buy new spark plug wires then and see if that gets rid of the problem?

So I checked with my BlueDriver scanner to and this is the first one that came up LOL. I guess we found our problem!

Yes. Follow what you've listed. I would not be surprised if you look at the number 1 wire you find a small white dot on the boot. Hard to see but if you find it that is the point of arc through which would cause rough idle and poor running as well as the number 1 misfire code. It's isn't the only possibility but one I've seen many times. I would still get wires anyway if they are old and see what happens. Plugs, wires and filters are tune up items.

"A bit tricky" puts you at beginner status in an engine bay. At least you know which way to turn a socket. Better than most people I meet.
