Hey all,
tired of collecting all the shifter bushings you need from 5 different vendors?
Now you can get them all from ONE source!
I compiled a set of all the bushings from the complete shifter base to the shifter cables and lever arm on your transmission. All bushings were CNC machined with tighter tolerances than stock to eliminate every single shifter play on your DSM. You will feel the difference!
These will fit all 1G and 2G DSMs.
Each set will come with an installation instruction, to make the installation easy for everyone.

Sold as a complete set of 28pcs for $190!

Seems like shipping slowly went back to normal and I'm able to ship these out the cheap way with regular shipping time (1-2 weeks) again.
So shipping is just an additional $10 worldwide!

Just send me a PM with your order details and I'll get back to you asap.

I haven't been on here for over a year but I saw this and just had to reply. Holy sh*t this is amazing and a great deal! Those damn shifter pivot bushings were the bane of my existence and yours look absolute quality. Keep up the amazing work my man! Grateful to have people like you on the community! :applause:

How about a 1990 kit, it is SO hard to try and fabricate a bushing out of a plastic pop bottle...........:idontknow:

Hey all!
I managed to get a 1G shifter base to change all the bushings that are different from the 2G Set.
Now I can offer you the complete Set for you 1G guys too!
Number of bushings are the same, so the price remains the same.
This is the full 1G shifter bushing set

Regarding 1G kit. I believe there are two different types of in-car shifter pivot bushings and different qty depending on model year. Will we get the correct ones based on our model year?

MB580253:
  • 6 are used for 1990 model year shifter assembly
  • 4 are used for 1991 model year shifter assembly
MB367320:
  • 2 are used for 1991 model year shifter assembly
  • 6 are used for 1992-94 model years shifter assembly

Not sure if it is true or not, but I think they did just improve the bushings when comparing the 90 and 91-94 bushings. I think we used the updated bushings on my car for the last rebuild. It was years ago though, so I can say for 100%

If we can get confirmation that this set will work with a 90, I would be interested once tax return season rolls around.

Yea thats what I was thinking too. They should be the same size, just different color/material..

I’m interested if they work with short shifters as well
I wanna see if this fits the short shifters or just OEM Shifter...I'm definitely interested!!!

Short shifters doesn't use pivot bushings for the upper part. They will go directly onto the pivot pin without any bushing.
So the complete set will work with short shifters, just with 2 pivor bushings less. Wich also makes the set for short shifters $20 cheaper.

My kit will work for all 91-94 1G.
As far as I know the blue bushings were on the 90 shifters and the black bushings on 91+ models.

I think they probably just changed the design and material but the measurements are still the same. But I will get a 90 shifter base and find out and let you know.
So I do know this: I bought a whole set of the blue OEM bushings for my 1990, and a set of black ones. The black is a firmer plastic than the blue, but actually also different size. I tried the black in each location (3 pivots) and they were sloppy in each one. Blue fits right for the 1990, but not black. I got these from JNZ or ExtremePSI, can’t remember. Came in the factory packages.

Why doesn't anyone make the part that goes onto the bottom of the shift select shoe, this part....?
It probably doesn't wear "out" but gets a little wear that makes that lever hesitate in movement ever so slightly on some shifters. Mine weren't terrible and I reused it, but it would be nice to be able to replace it if needed.
Big thanks go out to @Gsx-Dude for the nice ass kit he has assembled :thumb:

Thank you! Yea I think you're right, I'll probably machine that part too and add it to the kit.

very nice work. I made my own bushings on my hobby lathe. 1 suggestion I installed heim joints to the cable ends instead of brass bushings. I have a write up on this modd on this sight.
