Im stuck having to cover my car everynight since it cannot go in the garage, and it is a pain having to unscrew the mast everynight so the cover wont snap it. Are there any alternatives without having to stop using the radio? I was thinking about a motorized antenna.

mine is electric just find one off a junk dsm or get one that is a manual telescoping one.

I put one of those 1ft tall rubber ones on my car because I hate looking at the little rod sticking up off my car. They can be found at any parts store and it will bend enough to go under your cover.

Dont think 92s came with them, I wonder if there is a different mounting pattern for them. Thanks though, will need help with wiring though. Will the 2g motorized fit?

Probably not the best thing, but I ally ripped mine right out when I was going to shave the antenna. No big deal, the radio still works and it isn't there anymore so I'm happy.

My 92 GSX has an antenna in the rear window along with a broken motorized antenna.

I dont mean powered, all of them are powered, Im talking about motorized, they pop out when your turn on the radio, and go back in when you turn it off.

Sure there are factory motorized antennas. The high end Eclipse models had them as rsr93 and brodiedehass prove.

Yup my 92 GSX had a motorized antenna.

I've been looking into getting one of those BMW Shark Fin Antennas. I like that they are low profile and that if I rewire my antenna to the hatch I can make it work well. Plus they look cool too.

Only downside is that they are pretty pricey.

May i replace 2g antenna to 1G? if it s possbile how to get harness of motorized antenna.

How about cutting a small hole for the antenna to go through....don't raise the bridge.
