That's an impressive fabrication job. Is that an A/C compressor in the front? Nothing like running over zombies while staying cool.

What that car was in a previous life....

Hey I take offense :p us youngins have phantom nostalgia for the 80's or whatever you call having never experienced the era.

That is a sweet project. Sucks the bottom end needs to be sorted but it's in REALLY nice condition

Haha I’m just playing brotha! Yeah it’s in great condition otherwise. It wasn’t the fastest car back then but it sure was a cool ride. I’ll buy it if I win the mega millions. Can you imagine??? Almost a billion before tax...geez!

A few years ago, a few buddies and I put together a Top Gear style road trip. Being 80's themed, we had to complete the road trip and challenges using a car from the 80's. One of the best road trips we have ever had. You may appreciate the 87 Plymouth Duster I ended up acquiring just for the trip:

That does sound like a good time as long as no one broke down LOL. Interior looks nice and enjoyable for the trip. The red interior was a popular option back then. What’s funny is that it died for while and seems to have made a come back especially on the higher end cars.

We did have some breakdowns, but every car made it home. I only had two days to prep the car for the trip, so there were some surprises along the way. Wasn't terrible for $400. The minty red interior sold me on the car. There ended up being a hole in the fuel tank about 2/3 toward the top and the radiator got a crack. Epoxy fixes worked wonders to get through the trip. I sold it once we got back. She was a bit crusty underneath. About 3 years ago, we revived the trip and stuck with the 80's theme. I had 3 days this time to get the car ready, and had no issues this time during the trip. We went with an Eagle this time:

Only 3 days to look over the car??? You guys are NUTS! Lol I’m pretty sure my father had a 4dr version with the red interior but I thought it was a Ford. I could be wrong. You have had some interesting cars to say the least. I do dig wagons now that I’m older. I’d trade my jeep for a nice 4wd wagon.
