so im new to the dsm community and from all the cars the eclipse is the car that got my attention 95-99 but i can't find any GSX,GTS OR GS all i found was a 240 RS in good condition normal car no mods nothing and i have found some other pretty good modded eclipses but the owners buying either deleted the app or sold the car already but i found some other cars i can name later if you guys think any of them could do good to take note this will be my first car and i just don't want to waste my money on an RS since i did some research and it's slower than the rest but you guys think if i add a new engine/motor and turbo and so on i'll get faster or have more hp too?

Don't waste your money. You would be better off buying a cheap K-series Honda.

Nah, bro.

Im not trying to be disrespectful of how old i think that you are, but I remember how my thought process was when i wanted my first car, This sounds like one of those ideas that sounds great in your head but you dont understand the realities of how things would probably turn out. 40 year old me would probably try to talk teenage/20 year old me out of it.

420 swaps these days are for dudes that have owned the cars for years, but wanted something more and have a friend that has a 4G63 sitting around in their garage and its something for them and their friends to work on. Definitely not the primary source of transportation either. Anything outside of that is gonna be money and work thats gonna exceed the value of the car for something that, in the end, could have questionable reliability cause swaps dont always work out the way you want them to and more expensive than you anticipate.

If this is your first car, what you really want is something that works and shows up at car meets under its own power consistantly, You dont want to be constantly stranded or stuck in a garage waiting for someone from here to get back to you on one of your three maintenance issues or waiting to get more money just to be able to drive it. Theres enough of that in every day life for DSM guys that HAVENT had to do swaps. So yeah, youre probably better off with a older, but newer than a DSM, K-series honda as stated above or wait patiently for a GST/GSX

Well, it will never be fast, so save your money and look for a 4G63T AWD DSM instead of a 420a-powered vehicle.

You stated already this is your first car. Have you considered what it will cost to insure said car? You also understand that at 20 years old plus whatever you buy will require more money that just the purchase price?
I am 100% not trying to discourage you but I would highly sugest lookihng into all these things before you purchase this or any car for that matter.
