ok so this is my very first DSM I ever owned and I got it my senior year in 2006 with money I saved for over 3 years. My biggest regret is selling it in 2007 but I think most of us here have done this to ourselves. For those who have the 420a engine may feel like the motor is just too under powered but it presents a sort of charm that makes is sort of special. My favorite part of this car was the exhaust sound it just sounded so awesome to me. I wish this was sitting in the drive way but i guess you live and learn.

Funny story i felt like posting was a rivalry between my buddy in high school and me where when stock his civic si beat me by several car length when we raced. Over the summer in 2006 i worked a ton of hours at my new job and started loading the car with bolt-ons i finally got around to tuning it at a speed shop. The car ended up making an even 175 whp over the 140 crank hp. We finally got around to racing again and won by around two or three car lengths. It was gratifying to beat a superior car thus my lust for the underdog car was born. Went
4 banger permanently.
