Ok, so i have a 95 tsi talon with a 6 bolt swap. Ran and drove minus some minor tuning. Out in the driveway adjusting ve tables and car dies. Fired back up but on 2 cylinders. (Coil on plug). Died again and now sounds like its severely of time with fuel/spark. Ive got plenty of spare known good parts. Swapped cas, icm, checked all wires, ohmed out all coils. Pulled ecu to check for damage. (Rebuilt in 2016). Noticed tps says 100% in link. Ohmed out tps, confirmed voltage from harness, ohmed tps harness to ground with ecu unplugged and then plugged in. The tps was functioning while running on two cylinders before dying the second time. Im at a loss here. Ive searched for 3 days on this. Cas invert is checked in ecmlink. I know the tps shares a ground with a few other sensors. Should i be checking those? Im i missing a step? Any help is definitely appreciated.

tps is fixed i think. broken wire down by the pcm. must of happened after i took the pcm out a second time after fixing the ptu harness. (what are the odds?) but now it still sounds as if its running on two cylinders. the log shows no o2 because this was a base start to test if it would fire. ill plug my wb back in. the log pretty much looks like the whole car has feedback. this happend sitting in my driveway idling. no clue what else to do from here. any advice?
It would be a stationary log. I can do that tonight when i get home. Car wont run. I did check ecu sensor grounds. Checked for continuity on the ground from tps harness with ecu unplugged. Anyone have a list of sensors that share that same ground path? Coolant temp, tps, front and rear o2. I think there is a couple more.

Oh thats right. Ill check those as well. Im on sd through mdp plug but doesnt mean the maf wires cant be jacked.

yes. tried to calibrate and had no change. throttle has no change. and about 20 min ago double confirmed that all sensors for that ground circuit have no continuity to ground with ecu unplugged. checked with ohm meter and test light to positive of battery. i have a spare tps im going to try also just in case a second was bad. i will be loading a log in about 20 min. ignition side of harness "cas, icm, coils, DO ohm out to chassis. i have not ohmed out iacv yet. That might be on the same circuit as the tps. ill check in identafix. thanks for the replies guys..

So, i went and plugged everything back in. Checked a second tps. Same result. Ran stream to see if anything had changed. Dropped my pick by the right rear of the engine bay and seen a flicker in the stream from the tps. Grabbed my pick, more flickers. Moved the icm wires and tps voltage came back. Under further investigation, this is what i found under the loom.

Steve. No they are not. I rewired the ptu plug (new plug included) and the car fired up... on two cylinders. Shut it off, and it wont fire back up. Same 5v from tps. All other sensors seem to be reading. This is driving me nuts. Ill pull a log in a few and share.

I forgot to mention that when i was giggling the ptu plug last night my tps was bouncing back and forth between 5v and .63

got it to run. verrrrry iffy
