Anybody know the best way to fix this tear on my seat? Don't wanna make it worse especially since it's the 99 black interior

I've fixed a few leather seat tears, just not on a dsm (I have only cloth seats). I would buy some thread and a needle and stitch it shut and tight. After, inject some leather or super glue into the seam to join it.

I have been an upholsterer for 45 years or so but now in retirement . I have never heard of injecting leather...how is this possible.. If you can explain this to us all that would be appreciated ..

Your seat can be fixed ( by yourself ) with a leather and vinyl repair kit . You can find these kits on ebay or at your local auto store .. Just follow the steps in this video and you will be more than happy with the results .. I have people bugging me every day to come out of retirement because upholsterers in this area are very few .

And we all appreciate you Larry. Your upholstery expertise is A+++.
If you hadn't jumped in, I would have tagged you so you could give your input. THANKS!
I actually have that repair kit, never used, didn't know how to use it :)

Man Larry, you sure no how to do it up right. That looks so much better than NEW.
I owned a 1955 Ford Custom as my 1st car. 2 door post. Aqua metallic but basically the same color.
Those pictures bring back alot of good times. 272 V8, 3 speed. Nice roomy car.

Nice will do man thanks!!

Another question, how can I fix the loud and annoying squeeking noise on my driver seat when I sit on it or move around and my door panels??

Sounds to me like you got some springs rubbing against each other or rubbing the frame. To fix this you need to remove the seat.. Get the seat up on a work bench and visual inspected the seat for any broken springs and see what is causing the loud noise ... I usually stuff cotton baton or cloth around the springs causing the problem . If the seat is a little soft you may want to remove the cover and apply a piece of firm carpet between the foam and springs ... This will also cure spring noise .. You mentioned door panels but never said what the problem was ?
