Alright guys I know there is alot of information out there on this but I've read so much and I'm stumped. I have an 98 gsx that has an evo 8 ecu in it. Ive done a complete build on it and im stuck and what I need to switch to not use my maf but rather use a gm maf that I can weld the bung into my intercooler piping. Would it be just the regular gm speed density kit from stm or is there something particular that I need I'm so lost and this is like one of the last things I need to finish up my build. Also how would I wire it into my ecu. Thank you

Hi Austin - I am currently doing the switch myself with a ECMLink V3. I don't know if this also applies to the EVO ECU. Maybe someone can chime in...

Your original message is confusing. You state GM MAF which I think you meant to say GM AIT.

2G Intake Manifold Only
This is one of the kits you can get and the MAP sensor takes the place of the MDP location, bolt on.

MAP MDP Bolt on explanation below.

ALL Others
IF your not using your stock intake manifold or still using the MDP sensor then your going to need one of these with the STM Kit.

Below is the plug-n-play cable for the SD switch if you don't want to cut up your MAF connector and kit for it, this is utilizing the GM style MAP sensor. Go with this one if your MDP sensor is still in play.

ExtremePSI website is down...but they have the option of getting the GM style MAP sensor as a kit, STM doesn't offer it.
