Hi guys,

I wonder if 320mm Evo rotors can works with 2G Gsx dual piston calipers + 05/06 Outlander bracket?
If not which max size is compatible with 2G Gsx calipers and outlander bracket?

Thank’s all!

Thank’s guy, but I’ve already read this thread and no response for my question it’s only about Outlander big brake on Dsm, not about Evo rotors on outlander or gsx calipers.

Someone know the maximum rotors size I can use with Outlander big brakes ?

I think you missed the point of posting the link. The outlander setup uses gsx calipers (2 piston calipers) and outlander brackets and outlander sized rotors. The position of the caliper will determine what size rotor you can use. Unless you change the mounting bracket for the calipers you can only use the rotor that is designed for that diameter which is 11.7. With a little research, which you alredy did and know, you will find that the evo brake rotors are 12.6. Almost an inch bigger in diameter. Unless you push the caliper out another half inch the evo rotor wont fit.

Now if you make your own bracket for the caliper you can run whatever side rotor you want.

The outlander 11.7" rotors are the biggest you can use.

Ok thank’s man for reply !!

The others are correct. Also, even if you could run the 320mm Evo rotor with the outland calipers/brackets, the brake pad to rotor surface would be inadequate, to say the least.

Your options are (judging that you have a turbo DSM from your pic):

  • Keep using stock 276mm rotors.

  • Swap to 1st gen Outlander brackets only, allowing you to run a 294mm rotor.

  • Use adapting brackets for a 1st gen 3000GT 4 piston caliper with a 313mm rotor (I currently have brackets in stock in Europe).

  • Find 160mm Galant knuckles (direct bolt on) and run Evo Brembo calipers + 320mm disc.

That's cheapest - > more expensive from top to bottom.

But I didn't know that only the outlander 1 brackets are compatible.... Outlander 2 & 3 are not compatible ?
Thank’s !!

Am I correct in thinking that a 15x7 Rota Slipstream will work with the Outlander Caliper bracket while using a 1g big brake dual caliper?
Forget it. stock sixteens dropped the backyard, i can't use them on 294mm brakes if the balancing weights are patched inside the wheel. :D
