I see the question come up on here every now and then about using an n/a transmission in a turbo car. I happen to have both transmissions open and next to eachother so I figured I would take a side by side picture.

Both these are 1G FWD but a good picture for comparison purposes in the future for anyone asking the question.

The one on the left is the turbo trans? It's stronger looking. Bigger parts and such, a much larger differential.

Yes left one is the Turbo trans. Most notably the differential is much larger as well as the gear sets being larger and also I noticed the teeth are much beefier. The teeth on the n/a are much "finer" i guess would be the word. There are actually more teeth on the N/a gearsets even tho they are smaller gears. I'd guess this is done to reduce gear noise.
