Small update. IDK how but I was able to pick up these perfect condition window trims for the spyder. It’s the dam little things. Also replacing these showed me how crappy this paint job really is. But that an issue for another time.

Really lovn this build please keep it up, I have a vert and to me the vert just has the sexiest lines cant beat it. I am building two right now and i have a color and concept that I think is going to be one of a kind. I am very excited, you are very right the little things make a big appearance difference especially on the 2g verts.

Quick update. The fortune auto coilovers are installed. These are the gen 7. Install wasn’t too bad since I had recently installed my lowering springs before moving it to storage. this is as low as i want to go. The car might get a little lower as the springs settle.

New part alert for suspension. Got volk rear lower control arms. I’ll slap these on as soon as I get my rear sway bars as they’re not in the best shape.

I also got pictures of the fusible link I installed for the battery relocation. This is from an evo x available on Maperformance. I just made a quick bracket and put it over my engine mount. That space look kind of empty so it filled it out quite nice.

I wrapped the hot side with Dei for added protection and insulation.

Hey guys. Small update. The car is finally out of storage and is now at the house. Hopefully here i can get it running. I was finally able to slap on the carbonetics v2 hood that I’ve had here. Looks dang good.

Dude that looks so good! Was the clearance for the cam cover pretty good on that. When i put my carbon fiber hood on i went with the OEM style i thought the other hoods would rub the cam cover.

yeah i love how it looks. The carbonetics v2 was designed to clear the cams. The previous model had to be cut to clear. overall loving the fitment.

I agree, i looked at the manifold turbo picture and the coating in the engine bay you really did a great job with it, definitely my favorite spyder ive seen.

I finally had some time to work on the car again. I took on a small project that had been bugging the hell out of me and I finally decided to get it done. My trunk was a MESS! I took everything out and pulled the battery. I’m going to move it to the right side of the car.
Here’s the before

Unfortunately I didn’t take any pics of the actual process. I cleaned this up as well as i could and prepped everything. I went to Home Depot and bought a piece of wood for the floor. I used a template and cut it out. Then I had carpet fabric from hobby lobby. Cost me 12 bucks to make. I also painted the roll bars in the rear white since thats the color the cars going to be when shes done. I also painted all of my interior plastics black since mine were mismatched. I did hace to cut the right side plastic to fit the battery. I’d rather do that so that I can go back to using a spare if I need to. I also added some battery terminal covers for protection. That’s it for now hope you enjoy

I had to clear out storage the other day and I forgot I had the convertible top cover. I cleaned her up and threw her on. This is the first time I see what it looks like on and I kinda like it LOL.
