This might be a dumb question. But would my dsm (4g63LUV) run if my wideband sensor is failing? Sometimes its stuck on 7.6 and other days its working fine at any speed. I am simulating Narrowband via V3. I am in process of getting another sensor, but in the mean time I want to drive the Luv around.

It would run rich and give very poor fuel economy, but even if the oxygen sensor is completely connected it would run just fine.

thanks everyone. It does drive fine at times.

I agree with that the other guys said 100%, but just to add to this - I have an innovate in my s2000 and it often gets "stuck" at odd AFR readings. Usually 23.0 or 8.0 when I know that is not correct. A quick restart usually fixes it, and it reads normal again.

Yeah I do the same. But sometimes when I restart it, it stays the same LOL. I will try cleaning the outside of the o2 sensor and see it clears up anything and also do a free-air calibration. It only has 1500miles on the sensor from starting the truck the very first time to dyno runs @ English and driving it around town, 9months or so.
