Anyone else catch the season 2/episode 1 of Netflix's 'Fastest Car'?? They featured a 1/4 mile race between these 4 cars:
A '92 civic hatchback (AWD conversion) with a turbo K24 motor,
A '92 Eagle Talon TSI (AWD) with a built 4G63 turbo motor
A "72 Chevy Caprice 'donk' big block V8 twin turbo build,
All racing against a 2018 Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder ($370,000 AWD supercar).
It was a close race between the Talon and the awd Civic but the Civic won out by a half car length. Both cars smoked the Lambo!
This was one of the more interesting episodes cuz it had a DSM. The other car with a 4G63 motor was a '92 Plymouth Colt in season one episode 4 that won the qualifier but placed 6th in the final championship race. That car was fast too! Pretty cool what you can build for under 20k!
