Hi- I’m relatively new to tuning and I’m hoping to get a little feedback on my first log.

Basic setup: 20g at 15psi, 560cc pinktops, supporting mods.

Got the car out to do its first logging run. Warmed up for a bit and did two 2nd gear WOT pulls to 7000 rpm (ran out of room and couldn’t get to redline). Pulled like crazy and measured 15psi from a boost gauge at the FPR.

Coming back and looking at the data, everything is looking good—but one thing I’m surprised at: the IDC peaked at 75% for both WOT pulls. I was expecting 85-90% maybe. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy that apparently I’m not maxxing out the injectors, but am I missing something? I would have expected a 20g at 15psi to be sucking down more fuel than that.

Using Openport standalone logging. IDC was calculated from pulse width and RPM.

AFR was pegged right around 10.5-10.8.

Any feedback is appreciated.

I guess it's hard to say because there are so many types of 20gs and so many variable but 15psi is nothing. If the airflow is calibrated well then it's just not making much power.

I suspect you’re right. I got another log today and boost was spiking at 19psi @ 7500rpm, and IDCs went to 90-95%. Car and AFR were fine otherwise, though. Time to sort that out.

To many variables to compare your car to others with IDC's. I see some cars with well prepped race motors flow a ton and max injectors early and i see stock motors with large turbos not be able to use the air.
