So I've wanted a 1GA Talon since I was 16/17 and never was in a position to find a clean one for the right price over many years. Fast forward to 34 and I've had quite the variety of cars over the years and currently have a Trailblazer SS as my daily and a 2008 Audi R8 as my cruising car. After leaving the military about 6 years ago, I met a guy at my new job that had a clean 1g that he had own for many years. For 5 years straight, I harassed him to sell it to me with no luck. Well I shot him a message the other day to see if he would sell it to me yet and he agreed so my wife went and checked it out since I'm deployed and ended up getting one heck of a deal on it. The car hasn't ran in a couple years and has just been sitting in his driveway. I intend on doing a lot of maintenance on it since it is a 30 year old car with 141k miles on it. I'll slowly be gathering/ordering parts during this deployment and finally break in to it when I return from this trip.
