Hey all. If your reading this then i need your help.
All you need to know is the car must be a 2G! That is very critical.
With the design of my 2G subframe now complete and near welding phase ready for testing i want to aquire some data to allow me to get the built in lower brace right and this is where i need all your data!
I need to know how low your Exhaust Downpipe is. So if i can get this info listed below that would help greatly.
Details i need are...
Engine type
420A - 2.4 4g64 - 4g63 fwd - 4g63 awd
Downpipe make (brand) / has it been modified
If its a custom one, is it made by someone who makes them for us all the time (same jig) and name
DP flexi location (i.e under the oil pan or after the oem subframe)
DP size (example 2.5" OD)
If you currently use a Tanabe lower brace and if it fits through that ok
If you have a picture from the side of it that would help visual it also if its possible. No worries if not.
The location i need a measure from is in the picture attached, its the lower dip in the oem subframe and its to the top of the DP and then i can add the OD size to that and know the lowest point.
This data will help me average out brands systems to know what the built in lower brace should be at to work with all.
Thank you everyone for your help on this data.
