Finally was a nice day to fully detail the eclipse and get some decent shots. I use all chemical guys products. Great stuff. Car came out great.

Had a few more issues that got addressed. Think I'm rdy for my tune next Friday. Did some shopping on MOMO. Got a couple goodys on special order. Right now receiced my shift knob. Had an AMS one. Think this one looks a little better for the vehicle.

Hey guys haven't posted in awhile. I'm going to be selling this car shortly. I'm probably going to put it on BaT , but if anyone's interested feel free to PM me on it. It's currently in storage but can still check it out. Just thought I'd give a quick heads up in case someone is either interested. If interested please understand this isn't some project car that's needs parts A or B to run. This car is original low mileage, completed , turn key rdy to go. Everything works. I don't really expect anyone to buy this privately that's why I'm gona go the auction route. But I thought I would atleast make it known . Most of the cars history is on this page. 22k takes it.

I'm also going to be selling a brand new fwd stage 2 rebuilt Trans from TMZ. Pics are on this thread. Trans has been sitting for maybe 3 years now. It's never been used. Still brand new boxed the way I have it from TMZ. I have one of the last transmissions before some of the parts were discountined. Here's the list. I have no official pricing yet. I'm just giving some heads up. But please know this Trans is going to be at a premium due to discontinued parts, no donor Trans needed, and no wait time for turn around.

Damn, was hoping to see more updates on the car. This is the second thread I’ve gone through beginning to end to then see the car being parted out or sold.

Wish I could afford the trans 🥲
Thanks bro. Theres just nothing to update. The car has been complete for a few years now and has given me no headaches. I did everything I wanted to and enjoyed it. But it just sits mostly. Its just time to move on from it.

Hey guys. The car is currently up for auction on BaT. Spread the word!

The relative fact that in 5 years or less, OE parts will be nigh impossible to find for any variant of the DSM is the exact reason why you didn't get more. These just aren't highly sought after. We aren't having our doors broken down by potential buyers. Everybody with money is weary, and rightfully so. I think the only reason you got what you did was because of a paper trail.
18k USD for a 24 year old modified car with traction issues is pretty epic.
Today, there's plenty of cars that are rolling off the line that will dust a modest DSM on the strip.

One thing I agree with is cars running off the assembly. The technology and modding now. I still have my evo 8 that I will be holding on to for quite awhile caus mint evos are going for dumb money. But earlier this year I bought a 2018 amg E63s. That thing has everything I could ever want with a 600 hp monster under the hood that will leave a Porsche gt3 in the dust. And if I want more it's a simple flash tune that increases hp and tq without any mods

Eh idk man. I think there's a market for em. The car they listed before mine went for 27k and didn't even meet the reserve

Two entirely different classes. The one you just linked to is almost a museum piece and doesn't apply. The likelihood of you running into a buyer, or set of, willing to pay anywhere near that after even a simple BOV mod is slim to nil.

On the other note, I too had a used performance German saloon for a little while. Half the mileage of my 91 DSM at the time and more problems

Anyhoo, suppose it's time to shutter the build thread and move on to other things

I was just showing you the most recent one. I can post the 91 talon completely modded with 126k miles that sold for 46k. That's no where near a museum piece. But I digress.

Sorry to hear about your German saloon issues. I have zero issues LOL and prolly triple the hp and didn't have to add anything to it LOL. But comparing a top tier amg to a dsm really is apples to oranges.
