We recorded the announcer saying something hilarious, and that is what they were calling the food, I guess because it was called the Dsm S@@tShow, he was telling people not to miss out on the chicken s@@t sandwich, the dog turds on a bun, etc etc. We were rolling.

I got there late Saturday, made 2 decent passes, and won the dsm/Evo Sport class. Was only 3 cars, but the red 1g I raced in the finals was a serious car. hauled ass but had a little trouble with it. kevins track is solid, felt way safe making low 10s passes at 140mph. second time I've been there and the prep has been killer both times.

Thanks guys for the kind words, and thanks for coming out and having a good time with us. I got to meet and get to know a lot of good dudes that I probably would never have had time to hang out with at a normal shootout, very cool. For me, the first time 2 or 3 DSM/EVOs pulled out of the track and took off down rt 37 is when it felt like a shootout. There's something about hearing 4g63 powered cars tearing down this track and driving down the road out front. I had a blast with you guys all three days. Sincerely, thank you all for driving all the way out here to this little track (700+ miles in some cases!) and spending some time with us.

The small tire guys enjoyed watching you all run too, I've had so many comments about it. I'm hoping we're too packed with DSMs/EVOs on September 26th to fit in a small tire class, but man would it be badass to run small tire as well with the ~thousand more crew members they bring with them watching some seriously fast 4g63 powered cars.

Thanks to our sponsors we paid out $1550 despite the small fields! I still need to go through the timing computer and find the quickest DSM pass that DSMtuners.com so generously put a bounty on. Thanks to all of these guys for making it happen.

Jeff Pangborn with Midwest Motorsports Media got over 100 great photos, which he also puts on their website for the non-FB types. I expect he will be here on Sept 26th as well.

There's so much more to say but I don't even know where to start. The story about Fred (the track dog) has me dying over here. He's the most loyal dog I could ask for, and a damn hard worker. Rest assured he's been through every trash barrel since and not a single Squirrel Turd, Cow Patty, or Chicken Shit Sandwich has gone to waste. :D

I think this site doesn't like the "sh**" in the link URL.
Maybe that tripped the word filter here - try posting the link again. I just edited the settings on my end.

hope the works

Is it possible you have that post shared with friends only on FB? Or is it public?

The grey Cobra is a friend of the program. That's Jim Fichtner, who put on the other racing Saturday night. I tune that car for him (Holley), and he races the shit out of it. Really good dude. Got an FP 480 on it now too!

Those showed up yesterday, unfortunately. I will send them to the winner however. I have the car number now, just have to dig through the tech cards to remind myself who it is. This is way more manual than it should be. :D

Damn USPS, they said it would be there by Friday for sure, and charged accordingly for it.

Shipping anything these days is pretty much doomed. About 25% of the time it arrives on time I'd say.

Their tracking system states it was delivered to the mailbox on Friday morning. Their word versus mine - I'll probably lose. Oh well, it is what it is. Hopefully the winner will receive them and take some photos with them on the car. Maybe you can send them the link to this discussion and they can log in and post them Kevin!

If they came Friday it was late Friday, and by then we're already racing. I will definitely get them out to their rightful new owner. I'll be making a post shortly with all the winners and runner ups in each class. I've got 10 more hours of mowing to do today and about 3 more hours of daylight, so I might as well just quit now. :D

I just sent @FstDsm1994 (Ryan) a PM to get him to post a profile of his car here on the site so we can feature it. Hope he can post some pics with his DSMtuners decals too.
