Back story, I've owned this car for about 13 years (93 Eclipse GSX), I'm planning on moving everything to a new chassis (93 Eclipse GSX, modified chassis). This new chassis has nothing in it for wiring, and the expectations are wiring only the essentials to be street legal. I'm not looking to pull the previous chassis harness, as I don't want to bring over the bloat of the factory harness and unnecessary crap.
I think the main focus would be to make sure the engine harness is powered correctly, charging circuit, and fuel pump, etc. So, everything necessary to get the car running, that's not a part of the engine harness, I'll worry about wiring for lighting and what not, that's not a big deal.
This is to initiate discussion on what would be necessary, in the wiring, to complete the task of building a minimal chassis harness. With that being said, I have an original 91+ chassis and engine harness, if things would be easier to reuse in the end game. I just would not prefer to use, or hack that.
I've searched around, but couldn't find anything specific, and also not willing to spend days on end trying to find material that someone has already had experience in, that could reference in a couple minutes. I am certainly open to other threads that would help, but it would be nice to have everything in one spot, considering the topic.
