Isn't it pretty clear?

You "did follow up" but "didn't post your response".

You claimed that we "may have used" inferior parts in our shop according to your "source", but then never clarified it, and just let people assume. Do you really need someone to explain my issue with that?

You also claim the "from 2 years ago" response, but it still shows up in a search under our name, *AND* it just so happens that I see another post from April of this year with you claiming similar "inside knowledge" from "your source" of our business dealings. Please see: Brand New Axle Seals Leaking Here again, you don't come out and say it, but someone viewing it may assume you're saying that we sell non-OEM parts as OEM. Considering we've bought/sold (MANY) millions of dollars of OEM parts and about $2000 in Topline parts (mostly lifters) over my 23-24 year history of selling/working on these cars (I just ran a report in my accounting system), I think even you can see why that comment riles me up a bit.

As for the "who you think I am" aspect, you misunderstood my statement. I was talking about your "Source"'s roommate in my example of why we don't use/sell the aftermarket parts you said we may have used in the past in our shop (please find us selling them on our site...).

Moving onto your quote of "I've always done all of my own work". It took me all of 5 minutes to figure out who you were. Who your "source" is in a quick search of your posts. You getting work done at JMF (Jim is a wizard, BTW), Erik commenting on your post, you posting about work done on your car at R/T, pictures of your car with Erik's BRZ....

I've spoken to several other ex-employees (and still friends of mine) about this as I don't take people semi-slandering me sitting down, despite their need for attention. Maybe I need to make a call to your "source" and figure our what this is stemming from.

I can understand that when taken from the point of view of TopLine being "inferior parts," as you put it, you would be upset and feel I was slandering JNZ. I want to be clear, that was not my intent. Prior to this I had no opinion on TopLine parts and was just offering to check-in on them for the OP. I should have followed up. My silence was not meant for people to assume anything about JNZ and their use of parts - I think I just forgot about the thread. You can call "source" but I promise you it won't get you anywhere b/c it's not stemming from anything. Like I said above, I had nothing but positive experiences back in the day with JNZ.

I think this thread establishes two things: 1 - TopLine does appear to manufacturer inferior parts (according to the OP's reported experience, which I am grateful to know b/c I have used some of their stuff previously. And, 2 - JNZ never used TopLine products.

Hopefully that clears the air for any future readers.
