ive tried a search and not come up with this answer is a 7bolt pan comparable with a 6 bolt block ?

i am in the very early stages (gathering parts) of my build 95 tsi awd. i have a 6 bolt block that needs a complete rebuild p/o put a rod threw the oil pan.
my son is parting a 95 tsi and i can snag his oil pan if it will work for me.
is there anything else i should grab as well?
I have a 7bolt head and Evo III intake manifold to go on it have not firmed up a turbo setup yet but i am thinking of doing an On3 gt35 definitely want a fmic im hoping for a reliable weekend street/strip car at about 400-450 awhp

6-bolt and 7-bolt oil pans are not interchangeable. This is why it is suggested to look at the oil pan if you're unsure what engine block you have.
