Its a flattened 2' letter tray to keep sloshed fuel off of the carpet. It was sent in for "destruction"......

I second some of the other comments on Mazda. We've had a 2005 Mazda3 hatch, 2006 Mazdaspeed 6, and a 2010 Mazda CX-9. All rock solid. CX-9 just turned 140k miles last week and all I've done si fluids/brakes/etc. Interior still looks great too. Plus you get features on them you have to pay extra for in most cars.

The Mazda's rust though, I have yet to see one without rust thats more than a few years old.

I made an offer on a 2011 Toyota corolla. Now to see if my ex can come through. I am not paying for this.
