after i mounted my fuel cell in the spare tire well, i then needed to seal it from the drivers compartment, there are 2 way to seal is off, 1. a firewall, or 2. a sealed box on top of the fuel cell with access panel. (as i made in the video)

how to properly seal a fuel cell in a hatch back.

---fuel cell mounting---
1. must use minimum of 1/8" thick x 1" straps top and bottom. welded or bolted in
2. must use 1" tubing frame to mount the fuel cell to
3. fuel cell must be mounted below top of the rear tires
4. fuel cell firewall, firewall must be .032 aluminum or .024 steel thickness
5. fuel cell must be sealed off from drivers compartment. firewall or sealed box
6. must use fire resistance caulk to seal all panels mounted. (firewall/fire box/floor panel)

Jesus Christ. That'sa fire waiting to happen. You need to run some rubber around those straps. That's going to vibrate and rub a hole right through those corners.

i have actual put little piece of rubber in the corners after everything was all done!!! but yes thanks for looking out! not necessary tho for nhra safety.....
