thanks for coming back! be sure to post many videos, pics and keep us all up dated with your car as its good to see a 1G out on track

Thanks guys, current plans are to pull the 6bolt motor out of my laser and just do a refresh before swapping it in. I'll also need to swap in the 4-bolt rear as well, then there is the old FP green to replace the tired 14b, then there is the fuel system, then a Link ecu... but just one step at a time...LOL I want to get back on track soon and see if it truly was a warped head causing my overheating issue.

I only got about 7 laps in at the track but it handled pretty good. I have a lot of work to do to get it ready for next year.

here is the info for the custom rotor hats I had done for the cobra brake setup

Discovery parts did them it took about a month to get them, because they do race and they need the time to build the CAD file they send off. The hats dont fit the rotor perfectly I still had to use some hub centric ring adapters other than that they were a perfect fit. They were about $300 each and here is the form I used and the values: https://discoveryparts.com/custom-2-piece-rotors/5400-custom-brake-rotor-mount-hat-form.html
A: 212mm (this could be different based on your rotor selection)
b: 160mm
c:70.9mm
d: 4mm
E:7mm
f:3mm
g:7mm
h:174mm
i: 8 holes
i;8mm
i:XXXmm ( i screwed this one up and had them re-drilled)
J: 5 holes
J: 15mm
J: 114.3

Here is where I got the rotors from and I went with their race versions:
http://www.fulltiltboogieracing.com/1999-2004_Cobra_Brake_Parts.htm

Also to be on the safe side I had to shave about 3mm of the outside pads where they come close to the rotor hats.

That's pretty slick. Those are probably pretty similar to the TCE front rotor set up I had on my 1g.
