hi!
i´m in the middle of doing a fwd to awd swap, anyone got pics of how the e-brake cables on the gsx are routed and fastened?

Sorry, we didn't take pics on our recent ebrake cable install, but each cable has three clamping points between the floor pan exit, and the wheel backing plate. The cable stays above the exhaust piping.

The first clamp is within a few inches of the cable exiting the vertical section of the floor pan. From there is turns and follows the stamped cavity, where it is clamped again, about 50%of the way back. The final clamp point is just in front of each wheel well, where it is clamped for the 3rd time. From there it is on to each wheel backing plate, where it is held in place by a c-clip.

Awd . The bracket is silver.

to fwd diffrence. Thier is a small bracket that is welded in the area of front control arm mount that the cable bolts to that isn't on the fwd

Thier is a mark on the cable were it routs in front of the fuel tank (alighnment mark, should be blue) and bolts to the fuel tank shield. My bracket isn't cleaned up yet, so that part isn't installed yet.

thankx a lot guys!
the picture bracket in front of the control arm really helped, i couldn´t understand where it would sit =D

Just finished reinstalling my tank after cleaning out a bunch of rust and old gas.

You can see the rear mounting points for the cable here.

I'm pretty sure the front most bracket does not mount to the tank shield. The shield attached to the mounting straps which hold the tank in place. I'm pretty sure the front cable bracket mounts to the strap or the car frame itself right in that area. I know we removed the front cable mount brackets in order to access the bolts hold the shield and tank straps in place.
