I'm not 100% sure if I made a post about this yet but... so I have a 70mm turbo not sure rhe inches but I have a 70mm turbo with a coupler that is for 3.5 inner color pipe. Now that not matching the inlet of the turbo will that effect the spool ? I dont hear the bov when the pipe is on but when off its alot louder. Why is this ? I'm talking about the intake of the turbo not the actual piping in the system. I have a headlight induction but I feel like with it open the bov sound so much louder. I wanna say its a 4 inch to a 3.5 inch ..

I remember many years ago a test was done on turbo intakes that sharply necked down at the turbo versus ones that matched the turbo inlet and there was power loss with the sharp down intake.

25.4mm is 1 inch.

I understand where your coming from and pretty sure u answered it but imma make sure. So the intake of the turbo is straight off it to a L then out of the headlight not necessarily 90° off the turbo. Still applys to what you said ? If so then its going open no more headlight induction. Sadly. Lol I would have to get a 4 inch pipe ans cut the hole bigger ?
